Youth

PYG (Presbyterian Youth Group) – Grades 6, 7, and 8
Through weekly youth group and Bible Study, the goal of our PYG group is to begin the transition of our students to a more mature and personal faith in God. As they grow in size and maturity, we also begin to challenge them to grow spiritually. We think that in sixth graders can begin to sort through tough questions and start the process of their faith becoming their own. We also begin to foster the idea of helping others with service activities and mission trips. Middle School and Junior High are critical in the formation of students, not only mentally and emotionally, but spiritually as well. We have quite a bit of fun, but we are mainly interested in getting your student thinking about Jesus and God’s gift of grace.
Youth Connection – Grades 9-12
As students begin to ready themselves for life after high school, we want them to be prepared in the faith department as well. Our goal is to present lessons, activities, and opportunities for them to experience the love of Christ. Our goal is that these experiences will travel with them after high school and be a foundation for future spiritual growth in the future. In Youth Connection, we make it a point to try to encourage leadership and empower students to live their lives to glorify God in all they do. We hope that by the time they graduate and leave this group, they will be about to both speak and act out what they believe and that they are ready to grow in their faith and love for God on their own.
