Want to Read the Bible but Don't Know Where to Start?
We can fix that! Let's read the book of Philippians together the next four Sundays at 8:30 AM CT. Our Facebook page is bringing you Office Hours Bible Study featuring Brennan Breed of Columbia Theological Seminary and Chris Holmes, a pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Atlanta.
Philippians is in the New Testament. It was written by the Apostle Paul, a missionary who started new churches all over the Roman Empire. Philippians is short, just four chapters. It tackles big issues like, "Who is Jesus Christ? Why is he important?" and little issues like, "How can we get church people to get along with each other?" (Which is sometimes a not-so-little issue!) Paul wrote it from a jail cell, and if you're feeling a little confined these days, Paul has some words about how to be content even when you can't go out and about.
Philippians is the perfect place to dip your toe into the scriptures. Read along with us!
