2027 Mission & Ministry Challenge
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds
and glorify your Father in heaven.”
- Matthew 5:16
Invitation to Give
First Presbyterian is a source of light in the lives of our members and a beacon of grace and hope to our community and beyond. We are a living testimony of the faith passed down through generations. Like the stewards who tend to the lighthouse to keep it standing steadfast through the storms, we must care for both our facilities and spiritual foundation to keep that light shining. As we stand on the threshold of our 200th anniversary, we invite you to help keep that light shining brightly for years to come.
Through your prayers and financial support, we can enhance and deepen our mission, worship, fellowship, outreach, and member education. Every gift helps fuel the light that reflects the hope and new life found in Jesus Christ. Thank you for your prayerful consideration
- The Stewardship Team
Like a lighthouse sending a light over the sea, our acts of welcome and grace send a testimony of love through the streets of our community and over the avenues of the World Wide Web.
Our planning, actions, and reflections are guided by our Core Principles to Worship God, Nurture Faith, and Serve Our Neighbors. This gallery of images displays how we are living out those goals in 2026, and we want you to join us in being witnesses to the activity of God in our lives and in our community for 2027. Help us live out the stories and songs of our faith in ministries of Worship, Outreach, Hospitality, and Learning. Your options for committing to help us meet these goals and making a pledge are below this grouping of photos.
Your pledge to participate in and support the ministry of
First Presbyterian Church in 2026 can be submitted now!
We will return our pledges on
Gratitude Sunday, November 2nd,
but your early pledge will help our
leadership start planning!
