Advent book club: Unafraid

Wednesdays in December at 7:00 PM we'll meet on Zoom to discuss Adam Hamilton's Unafraid. Drawing on recent research, inspiring real-life examples, and fresh biblical insight, Hamilton uses  a mixture of facts and faith to help readers understand and counter fears related to such outsize perils as death and illness, as well as the everyday anxieties all of us encounter.

2021 Haseman Lectures

Endowed in memory of FPC members Wilbur and June Haseman, the Haseman Lectures bring thought-provoking speakers to Columbia to stimulate interest in the Bible, Christian theology, and spirituality. This year's Haseman Lecturer was renowned preacher and Christian educator, Dr. Rodger Nishioka. His theme was The Ancient Future Church--how the first Christians can inspire new forms of Christian community in a post-pandemic world.
